The Winter Wonderland Event is a non-profit community initiative which was established in 2009 aimed at developing the Seaside Village of Gordon’s Bay and surrounding areas through tourism, trade and entrepreneurship, whilst driving impact into local and vulnerable communities through purposeful action, job creation and inclusive collaboration whilst showcasing the spirit of local community.
Winter Wonderland 2023 is indeed the biggest Tourism Event in the Helderberg Area, and features a 4 Day Music Concert & Family Festival & Business Expo curated through the lens of Youth, Family, Community and Local Business.
By listening to the voices in the community regarding the Relaunch of Winter Wonderland, the organiser, The Ed Bham Foundation, a Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation is happy to announce that to ensure inclusivity, affordability, and access for all the community, that they are launching a Community Care Ticket.
This All-in-1 Access Ticket is available to all locals wishing to attend the event on any of the days, with a 50% reduction in price across the ticket ranges!

This community initiative from Main Beach to Bikini Beach brings over 100 local businesses & vendors into the beach strip, curating the majesty of Carnivals on the Beachfront of Gordon’s Bay. The mega outdoor street party, boasts the best beats with an exciting line up of local A list South African Artists, a variety of local seaside cuisine, fun Carnival Rides, and array of stores and vendors showcasing their businesses, from exciting gadgets to wonderful crafts. An entire beach area dedicated to traditional South African games aka Boeresport, delicious Potjies Kos, Bonfires, Yacht Parties, Water Sports and a dedicated Rugby fixture on the main sports field.
